Usage and product data: We may log actions such as sign-up, tailoring runs, downloads, and upgrade or payment-related events to operate the service, prevent abuse, and improve the product. This may include anonymized or aggregated analytics.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and similar technical data may be collected for security, fraud prevention, and service operation.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

Process your resume and job description content through our AI systems to generate tailored output

4. AI Processing and Accuracy

Our service uses artificial intelligence (AI) to tailor your resume to job descriptions. The AI rewrites and reorganizes content based on your input; it does not invent qualifications, jobs, or experience you did not provide. Output is generated automatically and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all tailored content before using it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated output for any particular job or employer. Use of the output is at your own risk.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the service. They process data only on our instructions and for the purposes described here:

Hosting and infrastructure: Our app and APIs may be hosted on platforms such as Vercel. Requests and data may be processed in the regions where these services operate.
Authentication and database: We use Supabase (or similar) for user authentication and to store account data, profiles, resumes, and tailoring history. Data is stored in secure, access-controlled environments.
AI provider: Resume and job description text is sent to an AI provider (e.g. OpenAI) to generate tailored content. Their use of data is governed by their respective privacy policies and our agreements with them.
Payments: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers; Stripe processes payment data according to their privacy policy and applicable regulations.
Analytics: We may use analytics services (e.g. Vercel Analytics) to understand usage in aggregate. These may collect technical and usage data as described in their policies.

We may disclose your information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of assets, subject to applicable law.

6. Data Security and Retention

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. Resume and job description content is sensitive; we treat it as confidential and use it only as described in this policy. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data; see Section 8.

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if you disable certain cookies.
